Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania (BBBS SEPA), the premier youth mentoring organization in the state, seeks a part-time Video Production intern for Fall 2008 and/or Spring 2009.
Internship Description
The intern will work directly with managers and directors, and will learn the business behind one of the most efficient and results-oriented non-profit organizations in the region. The internship includes opportunities to build a professional portfolio. In addition to building a professional portfolio, the internship includes opportunities to shoot in various locations throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and to work with BBBS SEPA’s corporate partners, volunteers, children and other stakeholders. Take advantage of this opportunity to work with an organization that helps 4000 children in our region each year, and has 88% brand recognition.
The intern will be expected to:
*Work with a Marketing team to develop and execute video projects that support Marketing & Communication, Fund Development and Recruitment functions.
*Cover/film events an create promotional video content that will be used in presentations and on the Web.
*Plan, storyboard, set-up and execute shoots (including sound), edit and post-produce.
*Work on ad hoc projects and respond to requests as assigned.
*Exhibit professionalism in all phone and in-person interactions.

Job Qualifications: |

*Applicants should be hard working, have excellent organization, shooting, production, editing and speaking skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Equipment Usage
The Video Production Intern will be expected to know how to use:
*Canon XH A1 HD camcorder with tripod
*Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 11
*Nero 8 Ultra which includes Nero Vision video editing
*Adobe Creative Suite 2 (CS2) Design Premium |
