The Regional Executive Director position of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern New Mexico (SENM) is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and experienced leader to develop and expand our organization and its impact. Big Brothers Big Sisters of SENM matches vulnerable children, ages 6-17, with volunteer mentors. Our research-based programs are proven to help children succeed in school and avoid drugs and violence.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of SENM has a well-established “brand identity” on both a national and local level. With nearly 400 affiliates across the country, Big Brothers Big Sisters serves more than a quarter-million children each year.
The Regional Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of SENM serves as the organization’s leader, representing and delivering Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission to a eight-county service area and reporting to a regional Board of Directors. The Executive Director is accountable for the efficient and ethical management of all operations and supervises a professional staff of ten. The Executive Director provides vision and strategic direction to the Board and staff, and works closely with them to set and execute organizational goals. Effective fundraising, especially with individual and corporate donors, is an essential part of this job; as is the development of the Board of Directors and their local committees supporting services to Chaves, Curry, DeBaca, Eddy, Lea, Lincoln, Roosevelt and Quay counties.

Job Qualifications: |
|
We seek candidates with five or more years of executive-level leadership experience in a comparable organization. Proven success in fundraising and board development is essential. The ideal candidate will also be a passionate advocate for youth and an articulate spokesperson for the organization. A Bachelor’s degree is required. |
