Job Responsibilities: |
|
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland, Inc., is searching for our Southern Maryland program a team player, to work part-time (up to 20 hours a week) to assist in changing the lives of children in Southern Maryland in the Tri-County area. This person will screen volunteers and youth and make matches based on mutual interests, compatibility, and safety. Will help support mentoring relationships by fostering communication, conflict resolution and positive child development. Will also assist in planning of group activities and child/volunteer recruitment. Reliable transportation for local travel in St. Mary's, Calvert and Charles Counties is required. Our office is in Charlotte Hall. |

Job Qualifications: |
|
BA/BS (or its equivalent) required in human service field/education; MSW a plus. Two years experience required (can include related internships). Flex schedule with several nights and weekends each week required to work approximately 20 hours per week. |
