Job Responsibilities:   Position Responsibilities
• Directly supervises Match Support Specialists.
• Provides consistent individual & team support, training, development and feedback.
• Trains and coaches program specialists in the supervision of matches.
• Oversees hiring and training of all program staff, in accordance with agency HR practices, evaluation of program employees, conflict resolution, and other duties set forth from Chief Executive Officer.
• Participates in leadership team meetings and efforts.

Management of Program Service Delivery
• Works with leadership team to assess and meet agency and customer needs.
• Coordinates teamwork, maintains continuity in work projects, and fosters a team environment.
• Elicits staff input for goal setting; sets and presents benchmarks monthly and quarterly; motivates staff to achieve benchmarks; rewards success.
• Ensures regularly scheduled team meeting with service delivery staff, eliciting input, providing feedback on performance, and giving guidance for quality service.
• Establishes/maintains quality controls to ensure check and balances and adherence to policy.
• Manages issues, ideas and challenges, develops/revises systems and methods, as needed, and implements action plans.
• Manages customer complaints and feedback.
• Ensures quality controls are maintained by program staff.
• Organizes and keeps current computer and desk files and database.
• Oversees approval of potential mentors prior to acceptance.
• Maintains program manual, procedures manual, and standardization of forms and practices.
• Conducts regularly scheduled file reviews and annual file archiving.
• Ensures that program team helps plan and execute successful agency match events, including but not limited to annual picnic, holiday parties, match activities and special events.

Program Evaluation/Reporting
• Demonstrates efficiency in management of database systems.
• Maintains current and updated reports of matches in process and ready to be matched, and provide to Chief Executive Officer and other staff as requested.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for all funding sources and to Chief Executive Officer as required.
• Assists in creation and coordination of annual reports including collection of all information, publication and dissemination.
• Evaluates outcome of program objectives and casework procedures on a quarterly/annual basis.

Strategic Planning
• Community partner development, including initiating new partnerships, pursuing leads, working with board, maintaining current community partners to facilitate program growth and goals.
• Works closely with CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER on all aspects of agency and program development and management.
• Work with leadership teams to develop an annual strategic plan, including program goals and objectives, and calendar of activities, and a budget.
• Encourages service delivery staff to participate in agency fund development, match retention, and public relations efforts.
• Conducts agency/community needs assessments and research and recommends ideas and procedures for service to new programs and new service areas.
• Researches methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness and ensure program growth.
• Assists with grant writing and legislative advocacy.
• Coordinates efforts with the Development Director to identify target populations, develop effective recruitment strategies, and provide outreach as needed.

Job Qualifications:   Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Social service experience
• Minimum two years supervisory and/or two years equivalent experience with BBBS
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Strong communication skills
• Program development experience
• Solid technical skills, including database, Excel, and Word
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution and coaching skills
• Willing and able to use personal vehicle for local travel on agency business.
• Valid NM driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Ability to work harmoniously with BBBS personnel, clients, volunteers and others
Salary:   $35,000 to $40,000 annually
