Job Responsibilities: |
|
• Cultivate corporate, community, organization, and collegiate partnerships that will provide an ongoing supply of potential mentees and mentors.
• Develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies within specified territory to ensure an optimal geographic balance between youth in process and prospective volunteers.
• Develop and implement a volunteer recruitment and youth outreach plan.
• Plan and implement public awareness campaigns.
• Develop and deliver presentations that are educational as well as motivational in nature.
• Staff or arrange for staffing of community events, fairs, and festivals.
• Create and distribute collateral materials.
• Provide material – written and visual – for organization newsletters.
• Assist with press releases as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local media.

Minimum Masters degree.
At least two years professional experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities in any of the following: community outreach, public relations, marketing, sales, event planning, social work, or other related field.
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work with diverse populations and geographic areas.
Must be Bilingual.
Excellent computer skills.
Excellent public speaking, presentation, and writing skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
The ability to travel and work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to maintain a sense of humor while solving business related challenges |
